stuny Posted July 30, 2014 Share #6601 Posted July 30, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Tesla Roadster, and I assume the red "hose" is an electrical cable. Here's one I saw in Manhattan two or three years ago with an apt numbers plate: Welcome, dear visitor! wlaidlaw Posted July 31, 2014 Share #6607 Posted July 31, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have never driven one of these. I would have liked to when I was still driving racing cars. Brian Redman says their handling is much more benign than the Ferrari 312PB which I have driven. The 312PB is very twitchy due to its short wheelbase and slightly odd rear suspension geometry. The one I drove also had a sticking throttle which made it even more sweaty. I will search for something to puzzle you. Wilson

wlaidlaw Posted August 2, 2014 Share #6610 Posted August 2, 2014 I was going to go out and take some photos of some cars yesterday or today but I am not driving at the moment, with my back problem having become very inflamed again (I am waiting to have fusions and a titanium cage put in). Would someone else like to have a go meantime. I have run out of cars to post. Wilson

stuny Posted August 4, 2014 Share #6613 Posted August 4, 2014 The colors and shapes on the dashboard suggest late1950s even though the rest of it shouts 21st century. To start things off: Perhaps a recent for current Roller or Bentley?

To start things off: Perhaps a recent for current Roller or Bentley? The first sentence is very much going in the right direction. The second is completely off target, though. stuny Posted August 4, 2014 Share #6615 Posted August 4, 2014 Well, it must have been made well after CDs were created 25 to 30 years ago since there's a CD slot. I suspect CDs were around at least five eyars before they appeared in-dash in cars, suggesting this is circa 1990. it also looks like a luxury car, probably from the UK. This is (still) a production car. Not from the UK (although the picture was taken there, in London to be precise (extra riddle: where?), as you maybe guessed from the background and the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car). The manufacturer will be flattered by your description but what you are seeing in the interior is very likely not bi-color leather, as you probably assume (I am starting to enjoy this one and you also will have a good laugh, when you see what it is ;-)). stuny Posted August 4, 2014 Share #6617 Posted August 4, 2014 Hmmmm. Probably more like a low to midlevel Peugot, Open or the such. It might also be a model not imported to the US.

a.j.z Posted August 4, 2014 Share #6619 Posted August 4, 2014 New Fiat 500 I think. Gerd That is correct. Your turn, Gerd! Although the photo was taken in Notting Hill I think it still does not count as a luxury car Welcome, dear visitor! I do not know, if this is imported to the US but as the new Mini and the new Beetle it is inspired by a car from the 50s/60s. So you were on the right track but then took the wrong lane. They are very popular here.
