This is really nameless, but will post it here for entertainment. The early 60s VW part is obvious; can you name the origin of the rest of it?

I saw this in 1972, NYC at an opened garage door. I remember going in to get a real look, and was chased away by a woman, and never saw the rest of it.

There is a slight flavour of Studebaker about those rear fins but really I don’t know. However this one might be its Dad :)

Andreas. Correct and your turn. the extension of the head restraints is new to the model, and no doubt why Wilson thought of the Saturn Sky. here are some views of the car, shot through the windows at about 6:15 last Friday morning.
