Wilson - Do you have one?

I am beginning to run out. I lent my son-in-law a V-Lux camera yesterday for the Festival of Speed at Goodwood, thinking to have a whole new library of photographs. He came back and said he had taken hundreds of photos. The SD card however appeared to be empty. I even checked with Data Rescue Pro V2 and there were no image files there and all it found were some odd large XML files, containing screeds of garbage and other unidentifiable rubbish .dat files. He and the friend he had gone with, had been scrolling through the photos as they took them, so at the time the camera was taking photos. I have tested it with another card after I had failed to recover any images and it worked perfectly. The only thing I can think of is that they inadvertently walked through a microwave beam and it wiped/scrambled the card. Very annoying.

Anyway here is one I took last year.

Wilson, I'm no Ferrari expert but the the pillar narrowed down the ID.

I'll sort out an entry later this evening.

Sorry to hear the Goodwood pics did not materialise.

Best wishes

We were going to take it on the Swiss Lakes rally later this year but then remembered "oh yes - the brakes (or lack of them)". My sister in law was rallying the 250GT-SWB she used to have in Portugal. It has the same brakes as the California (Dunlop from memory). She came down a long hill rather too quickly. The brakes faded to nothing and she finished up in a corn field at the bottom of the hill.

Hope your sister-in-law and the car escaped unscathed.

Sister in law and her navigator unscathed, as car had a full roll cage and they were wearing 4 point belts. As 250GT SWB was on its roof, it took a bit of buffing out to put it right :) It got sold as soon as it was mended and she got the 275 GTB/Competitione I have posted photos of here, as it has the same huge brakes as a 330P4. Unfortunately she has reserved that for herself for the Swiss Lakes rally.
