We are looking at the post WW2 period but the car never made it into production stage because of the man that was behind it died suddenly in 1949.

Guys, before I check the next car (may become an easy one because of house renovation work), I have to tell you something (frightening) funny:

I was BLIND for Gerd´s hints where he mentioned the 1949 death of the head behind this car. I was ONLY looking at the picture, man am I stupid!

Luckily I could trust my photographic memory and had lot´s of fun ;)

p.s. French post war prototype cars are a real hard nut, so many interesting, stunning and sometimes just sick stuff the French made.

So here my riddle: This was my end of season drive some years ago. In which car am I on the way to Vienna airport?

Andreas, you did a great job, counted on you! The Jag was a very nice car, but a bit thirsty.

Stuart - yes, all right. But pay attention: these steering wheels have been very popular aftermarket accessories, as in "our" car. So the steering wheel has helped to identify time period and local focus - so dont bet too much on the steering wheel from now on. But there are enough other details around the cockpit...

Cheers, Andreas
