The original photo made me assume three wheeler, especially and then bubble/micro car because of what I assumed was a small spare wheel. but could this be a racing tail on something that is a bit home made, somewhat older or a bit of both. Modern wheel seemingly on the second photo with low profile tire but everything else looks as though it could have been put together by me on a day with a hangover. So could it be something a bit racingy?

You are on the right track, but I doubt you would design and build this on just one day with a hangover ;)

Even though I have less idea than Bill, I see a Metzeler tire - motorbike tire. Could this be a modern tire on an older vehicle?

Perhaps not, I have just googled Bill's Torq Ev and it makes sense, except this seems to be something older. If Bill is wrong could this be a mating of a Tatra with a Fuldacar?

It could easily be a "modern" motorcycle tyre,

but the vehicle is old. OK, another hint:

The cockpit could be called a greatgrandfather

of modern racecar cockpits, see attached picture.

Forget Tatra and Fuldacar.

I thought that looked surprisingly like an old time aircraft set up but then no yoke and no rudder pedals so no. But on a closer look that steering wheel could be a control column and there could be a couple of rudder pedals, one of which is hidden. Is this an early flying car?

I have no idea but it seems to have a narrow track and to be an aluminium (aluminum) body over a metal frame. It is the sort of thing me and my friends would have been proud of when we were restoring cars of what I guess is this vintage a few years back. But it would seem that it has a brand name. The pedal layout is traditional, gear lever on the left, so Britishish? I'm floundering but sometimes one's complete loss can suddenly find a lead.

Mmmh, i posted the "key visuals" of that machine, now I can only help you with words or the complete photo of it.

It´s not british, although it was a small but known brand and has a JAP engine. It was ment to become a kind of peoples (race) car, but people didn´t understand what it really was, I fear.

This particular car is a kind of prototype though, but one of the most famous cars of that maker.

Nobody? Ok, another detail. The radiator grill is said to be the face of a car.
