yikes! . . . i just checked . . . my dad's was a '49 and car #1 definitely looks like the back of a '48 according to my picture book.

 

and BTW, Larry, i like the smooth look of your photo !

Dave, Thanks! About the year: I actually stole the info from the rear plate frame on this car. I opened this just now to read your comment, and now realize how heavy handed I was with the tinting; gee, it looked so good last night; must be the influence of the glass of wine that was in my hand; I wish I could change it. ;-)
