That list suggests it was planned by someone with active photographic knowledge; they avoided the SL lenses and cameras.

I wonder about it being too well planned. Why bother taking up space for oberwerth half cases and D-lux ones?  In any event it was quite a hit and awful for everyone in the store. I wouldn't think they would have an easy time fencing the stuff. The Leica market isn't that large.

This is organized crime.  I somewhat suspect that these robbers were filling an order.
