wilfredo Posted April 20, 2010 Author Share #21 Posted April 20, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Jon, Gerald, Azzo, and Virgil, Thank you. Your comments reflect some pretty deep thinking. I wanted both crosses in the picture and the result was better than I anticipated. This was one of those times where everything fell into place. It makes me want to take more pictures.

Interesting comment. I sometimes dabble in the Fred Miranda forum but find the comments there shallow and superficial for the most part with a focus on technicalities. Here on the Leica User forum, the comments focus more on content and substance which is one of the reasons I enjoy this forum so much. There is something to be said about Leica photographers that goes beyond an obsession with Leica gear. The ethos here is unique, and generally of more substance than other photography forums. photophile Posted April 21, 2010 Share #27 Posted April 21, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Wilfredo - an excellent portrait in the classic tradition. Agre the Gothic image came to my mind also. If allowed one minor critique...is there a bottom to her cross? I think it would bring it from a 9.9 to a 10. Best. wilfredo Posted April 22, 2010 Author Share #28 Posted April 22, 2010 Thanks Spo, David and PP. PP, there is no bottom cross in the frame but I think it shows just enough, I'm pleased with it.
andym911 Posted April 22, 2010 Share #29 Posted April 22, 2010 Wilfredo, from a thousand images sometimes one stands out...for me this is that one. Just excellent framing, mood, tones and expressions of the two subjects. Congratulations, you should be very rewarded with this Andy
