earleygallery Posted January 29, 2007 Share #62 Posted January 29, 2007 Looks like you had a good NW meet. Down in London we were less energetic that you lot crawling around under cars and the like, and stopped in the pub!
Falstaff Posted January 29, 2007 Share #63 Posted January 29, 2007 Gentlemen Thank you very much for the warm welcome to a new member. Also, I really enjoyed my day. As for pictures, unlike you guys with instant access to your efforts, some of us have to first drop the film off, wait for it to be developed, scanned etc etc. Liverpool next stop. Rolo Posted January 29, 2007 Share #64 Posted January 29, 2007 Sorry I couldn't make it guys. Glad you got the message. Maybe Liverpool. The results show you all having a great day out with some remarkable images. Really appreciate the photo of Andy after being hit by the Jag. Thanks for sharing. Rolo Rolo, Shame that you could not be there, I was looking forward to meeting you and asking about your technique; hope that you can make Liverpool, perhaps you could tell us some tales from your Navy days? Cheers, Pete.
jmr Posted January 29, 2007 Share #66 Posted January 29, 2007 Pete, would that be from when he served aboard HMS Linoleum?
Rolo Posted January 29, 2007 Share #67 Posted January 29, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Pete, Were you shooting video stills ? 800 frames? Steve reports 300 frames shot and he's only posted 1/3 as many as you. Most of his have involved Andy though: Andy drinking cafe latte, Andy taking pictures of chain links, Andy drinking beer, Andy on the floor, Andy on the floor again, Andy paying for this, Andy paying for that ...... stunsworth Posted January 30, 2007 Share #68 Posted January 30, 2007 I think you exagerate Rolo, as far as I can remember only one of them featured chief guide and organiser Lord Barton of Barton :-)
elansprint72 Posted January 30, 2007 Author Share #69 Posted January 30, 2007 Pete, Were you shooting video stills ? 800 frames? Rolo Roly, That's 800+ frames since I bought the camera, I never bother to re-set the counter gizmo! Lord Barton does seems to get into everyone's shots though. Pete. Michael-IIIf Posted January 30, 2007 Share #72 Posted January 30, 2007 Looks like you had a good NW meet. Down in London we were less energetic that you lot crawling around under cars and the like, and stopped in the pub! I was thinking exactly the same myself. Look at the London Meet pics, we just sat in the bar and snapped the other side of the table. Didn't even manage to take any around the pub itself, just our own table! Oh well, maybe next time we'll venture out.
bill Posted January 30, 2007 Share #73 Posted January 30, 2007 It's warmer down South... we didn't have to keep moving around to avoid hypothermia... Regards, Bill
