biglouis Posted March 22, 2010 Author Share #11 Posted March 22, 2010 Thanks for all the comments. I have Nick De Marco to thank for implanting the GAS. I have always like the user interface for the various DLUX models and if you can imagine that UI on a camera with the IQ of a D300 that fits into your pocket (even with an Elmarit 28 or Elmar 50 attached) then you can appreciate the benefit of it. I am assuming that the rumoured DLUX5 will be this camera rebadged with a M adaptor thrown in (if Leica has any commercial sense). LouisB

Nick De Marco Posted March 22, 2010 Share #14 Posted March 22, 2010 Fantastic sharpness and colours well done. The GF1 is the real deal. Please don't listen to me though as I should join GAS Anonymous (already can't wit for the Panny 14mm f2.5 pancake, oh and I fancy another Rollei)

biglouis Posted March 23, 2010 Author Share #17 Posted March 23, 2010 The more I play with the GF1 the more I realise it is a camera that Leica should be building lenses for. At present there is only the 45mm Macro but what is needed is a decent wide angle, like the 14mm Nick hints at above or a nice 17mm f2 in the vein of a summicron.
