I shot these with a 1953 Elmar f/3.5 5cm LTM on an M8. (Graphic design, writing, etc., by me.)

Part of a professional-development design project.

I really like how the Elmar renders out-of-focus areas. Nicely smooth.

Very nice. I also have a Summarit 50. It's a little soft wide open but stopped down it's very sharp.

1965 90mm f/4 Elmar '3 element' - just a test shot after I'd picked it up and I don't think that this incredibly light little lens has featured as yet. Stunning at f/8.

Here's my offering taken with an M8 and a 2.8/90 Elmarit M from around 1959.

I'm still new to the M8 and still exploring how to use it and the four lens kit I put together.

Patman, I really like those icicles. Did you make a feature of those in any shots?

Re: comment on differences between your two shots. the changing quality of light can account for apparent colour shifts.

Yes I did, I shot this early one morning.
