michali Posted January 18, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 18, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) M8 & 50mm Elmar I found a mint 50mm Elmar f2.8 collapsible lens at my dealer last week and bought it on a whim. My first shot with this lens. Shot straight into this morning's diffused cloudy light, exposure compensation set @ +2 1/3 Thanks for viewing. allamande Posted January 19, 2010 Share #6 Posted January 19, 2010 Mike, They are amazing and so sweet, so gentle and graceful, despite their size. This is an outstanding image; your new lens did well, for you and for these giraffes. Ece

leicamann Posted January 22, 2010 Share #9 Posted January 22, 2010 Well you certainly got low enough on this one, Jaap can't criticize you for that:rolleyes: Nicely done... I think the "meltdown" of the image to the web has taken away from what would probably be more detail and resolution. Thanks for sharing Cheers, JRM
simonboell Posted January 22, 2010 Share #10 Posted January 22, 2010 Well done job. Great picture of fascinating animals. When I go out I only see rain washing the snow away. Boring.
