Advertisement Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Hi vdb, Take a look here Pandora. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
vla Posted January 16, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 16, 2010 virgil, beautiful shot! i really like it! great composition - unusual cropping, off-center positioning of the horse's head, yet 'classic' composition with head in foreground, other horse further back and trees in the background, beautiful dof. the fact that the horse's head is framed by the roof gives the picture an interesting 'off-center symmetry' lovely tones - just love the warm dark grey of the head and great texture on the wood in the foreground. and then those wonderful snowflakes ... the more i look at your shot, the more i like it ... btw, which lens did you use? markus
melissah Posted January 16, 2010 Share #3 Posted January 16, 2010 i just love this horse! she is 40? amazing. does she like the snow/cold? to the image. love the cropping and the the tones are to die for. mostly i love seeing the fresh snow on her face. question, is she the horse in the photo, where are you going? best, melissa ps: its in the high 60s low 70s here. i thought id make you jealous but from looks of things you have it pretty sweet right there at your home. vdb Posted January 16, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted January 16, 2010 Markus, thanks. I used my DL4 for this one. Melissa, thanks. Pandora is the same horse in "where are u going", but she is not 40. That's our mini mule rescue--"Miss Marple"---a true survivor. Pandora is a young Arab....belongs to our friend (also a rescue). And yes, loves the cold and snow...more than I lately;)
