Jerry_R Posted February 12, 2010 Share #81 Posted February 12, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) The lens is perfect for walking around and shooting unnoticed, just set the lens to f8.0, zone focus, and you can shoot unnoticed shoot the hip! Thanks Trond! I think Steve Huff could say almost the same about 15mm ;-) VOIGTLANDER 15 HELIAR LENS REVIEW - CV 15 Anyway - the more I read and watch samples - I see that they are different lenses. Different focals. At wide - each mm counts. I know, if I would have wate - I would 99% of time have it set as 16mm. And still miss some mm on wide side. Thanks for your comments Trond! Advertisement Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Hi Jerry_R, Take a look here Voigtlander 15mm or WATE on M9. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest trond Posted February 12, 2010 Share #82 Posted February 12, 2010 Jerry! I completely agree with you, and I am waiting for the new CV 12mm, which I will buy as soon as I can get hold on one. I have the Sigma 12-24mm for full frame on my Canon 1Ds3. It´s a poor lens in terms of sharpness, but the coverage on 12mm and full frame, wow! I would really like that kind of coverage on my M9. Best regards Trond
rochephoto Posted November 15, 2010 Share #83 Posted November 15, 2010 can someone please tell me how to set focus a 15 mm voight
Jerry_R Posted November 16, 2010 Share #84 Posted November 16, 2010 If your lens is rangefinder coupled - you will see results in viewfinder, like for other lenses. If not - just use scale on the lens and your imagination. Its depth of field is large. If you close it down and set hyperfocal - you do not need to focus at all, just "point & shoot".
