I like digital, it has its place, but I like the look of film and I love a challange. I own a lot of old Kodak Retinas, mostly 30's and 40's, some of them do not have a range finder, just a veiw finder, and I have to take my own light readings. It is fun to create something good on film from that. I also own a Bronica RF645 and a Rollieflex 2.8 C which I still use and love. A pixel is just a pixel, electronically made adaptation of an image. A film peice is an actual image chemicaly "burnt" on plastic, it is like really being there again:D

Hasselblad 500 C w/Sonnar 80 (which is the one I use the most for film)

Leica R4s w/35 Summicron and Macro-Elmarit

Horizon 202 panorama camera

... and my first rangefinder, a Minolta Hi-Matic 7s

I have added a CLA'd M4 with a Summaron 35/2,8 to my film arsenal and I have just bought an R8 with winder which I plan to put to good use. Add to that the fact that I have found a local lab (Knudsen foto at Storo in Oslo) that does a remarkably good job of scanning to CD and I am once again a happy film user.

Let's see, I use all of mine at least once, more than others.

1934 Kodak retina 117

1945 Kodak retina 010

1951 Kodak retina IIa 016

1957 Kodak retina IIIC 023

Rolleiflex 2.8C

Leica R4

Bronica RF645

Minolta 9xi

I use my Leica the most, then the Bronica (good lens 65 f1.4), and the Kodak Retina IIa with the attached Kodalux shoe mounted light meter, because its fun!:D

Golly, it's 18 months or more since I first "declared" in this thread... time for an update.

Leica: II, M2, M7, MP

Nikon: FM3A

Olympus: Mju-II, Trip

Rollei: 35SE

...that makes seven, all in regular use.

Added since last time were the MP, the Nikon and the Rollei, "deleted" was my R7 and a III

3 digis - Leica D-Lux 4 + two Pannys.

Regards,

Bill

Far too many to list, for fear of embarrassment. When I run out of 8x10 and 4x5 film, I might slim the lot by seven cameras.

Sent from my Etcha-sketch.

I only have a M6 but I've actually been using it more than my M-E. I've been using it so much in fact that I've considered selling my M-E and getting an MP.
