Hoaxville Posted November 23, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 23, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Interesting reading about the 3 lens Kit ideas in that recent thread... But it got me thinking. If you could only choose ONE lens to have on your beloved M8? What would it be? For me it would be a tug-o-war between the 28 cron, and the 35 lux. With the 28 winning out eventually for it's width giving that little more versatility. But the 35 lux offers it's 'magic' and that extra stop...! g http://www.GlendynIvin.com

Jiukuic5609 Posted November 23, 2009 Share #15 Posted November 23, 2009 I Agree, 28mm Summicron, although I like my 28mm Elmarit which happens to be the only lens I have for my M8. I did a review of the Elmarit on my blog a week ago with a bunch of sample images: Leica Elmarit 28mm Review for M8 — Daniel Valente Photography
fotografr Posted November 23, 2009 Share #16 Posted November 23, 2009 Tough decision for me between the 35/2 ASPH and the 50/1.4 ASPH, but if I really had to get by with just one it would have to be the 35/2 ASPH.

Speenth Posted November 23, 2009 Share #18 Posted November 23, 2009 Summicron 35/2 ASPH. It's small and discreet, versatile on the M8 in a wide variety of shooting situations and it produces great images in every respect.
tbarker13 Posted November 23, 2009 Share #19 Posted November 23, 2009 When I go with only one, it's a toss-up between 28 cron and 35 pre-asph lux.
rjans Posted November 23, 2009 Share #20 Posted November 23, 2009 The 28 Cron would be my choice. Best
