Advertisement Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Hi kidigital, Take a look here Family Snapshot. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
semrich Posted November 30, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 30, 2006 While this is titled a "snapshot" to me it is much more than that, the tones and expressions, plural, including the dog, are great. this is worthy of a large print hung in a gallery. andym911 Posted November 30, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 30, 2006 Kurt, lovely as others have said. If I may mention 3 things that could possible make it even better they would be: 1.Choose a moment when both of the dogs ears are visible, here it looks like he/she only has one.(maybe he/she has , if so sorry) 2.A bit more DOF to get the dogs nose and teeth in focus too, the OOF distracts a bit. 3.Portrait instead of landscape may have made this one a killer! just my thoughts, hope you don't mind. andy

Guest lykoudos Posted November 30, 2006 Share #7 Posted November 30, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello Kurt, Tendency-full and in the motive, the perspective, the composition and development of the picture excellent admission. Both would be price suspicious in each beauty competition of the world. Greeting Wolfgang (MP grey hammertone, 2,8/28; 1,4/50; 2/90)

JHAG Posted December 1, 2006 Share #12 Posted December 1, 2006 I don't agree with Andy on two counts. Landscape : I find this large grey palette in the background both discreet and efficient OOF : It gives a forward movement to the head, as if it were push his mouth through — I never forget the wolf in such dogs… No advice about dog's ears, though…

chouhsin Posted December 1, 2006 Share #15 Posted December 1, 2006 Kurt, IHO, contrary to the 3rd point of Andy, I'd prefer the image in landscape, but centered. Really great image already. Hsin
