Kurt,

 

lovely as others have said.

If I may mention 3 things that could possible make it even better they would be:

 

1.Choose a moment when both of the dogs ears are visible, here it looks like he/she only has one.(maybe he/she has , if so sorry)

2.A bit more DOF to get the dogs nose and teeth in focus too, the OOF distracts a bit.

3.Portrait instead of landscape may have made this one a killer!

 

just my thoughts, hope you don't mind.

I don't agree with Andy on two counts.

 

Landscape : I find this large grey palette in the background both discreet and efficient

OOF : It gives a forward movement to the head, as if it were push his mouth through

— I never forget the wolf in such dogs…:eek:

 

No advice about dog's ears, though…:rolleyes:
