Bum.

Been advised by a very nice specialist nurse that aeroplanes are far too filthy for me to be allowed anywhere near one.

:)

Plans for Zingst may now have to involve a long drive, a ferry or two and an iPod full of Radiohead, Pink Floyd and Beethoven.

Will get there if I can...

(Actually, said nurse advised against going "anywhere foreign" at all, as "you wouldn't want to get poorly abroad". I think I know what she meant :) )

If you want company, I could be persuaded to go along with you :)

Well, maybe not with Radiohead! :D

Andy - I was booking a ferry to England and came across this:-

Driving from Hamburg to England

I know there are ferries from Hamburg to Harwich or maybe from Cuxhaven.

I will be going in May on the Zeebrugge-Hull crossing.

I will most probably drive from home to Zingst so if anybody along the length of Germany needs a lift we can work something out. I will probably arrive on Tue or Wed.

Geoff - Frankfurt is on my way to Zingst.

Folks,

sorry for the ones who can't make it.

It's a shame as Zingst, the Fotofestival and our member meeting will be great.

I spent last week two days there and made up the program with the festival director Peter Prast and Oliver Richter of the Leica Akademie.

Some minutes ago I published the German version here:

http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-blog/de/2010/04/anmeldung-leica-forumstreffen-2010-in-zingst/

Hopefully I get the translation done tomorrow - I'll let you know!

Best regards from Bonn

Andreas
