Rona!d Posted November 25, 2009 Share #17 Posted November 25, 2009 Rolo, what a clean Disco. Nice picture. Assume this was on display at one of the Experience Drives or LR-Events? Last time I took pictures of the new models a couple of weeks ago, we had to drive them through the mud, so they got a different -well known- look. btw. Had you checked their new trailer assistance program and all the new camera gimmicks? Hope, the Disco will not go the Chelsea Tractor route now but the new 3ltr Diesel is fine. Lainer1 Posted January 20, 2010 Share #18 Posted January 20, 2010 M8, 24mm Elmarit Asph, f8, 1/250s Thanks for looking. OMG! This was done with the Leica? And the M8, not the M9? How did you light it?
Samir Jahjah Posted January 20, 2010 Share #19 Posted January 20, 2010 Thanks all for your comments. Looking like Medium Format is something I'm banking on ... This is a great capture, perfect composition and excellent post-processing! Thanks for sharing the various stages of your work. It seems you did not use any artificial lighting, is that correct? Rolo Posted January 20, 2010 Author Share #20 Posted January 20, 2010 OMG! This was done with the Leica? And the M8, not the M9? How did you light it? Thanks for your interest. It was shot on the M8, hand held and in manual exposure. Three soft boxes were used. One to the left and two to the right. The first frame above, 354, was basically how the scene looked before any additional lighting and was used to determine the sky exposure. Then the lights were added one at a time. Finally, the light were further adjusted because of their cumulative effect on certain parts of the subject. All done via the camera back.
