michali Posted June 10, 2013 Share #2 Posted June 10, 2013 Karl- Wonderful! I really like the 2nd image for its width, nicely done.
pauledell Posted June 10, 2013 Share #3 Posted June 10, 2013 Karl, A lovely pair with the second as my choice. Great composition, colors, sharpness and your treatment of the moving water over the falls. Paul
Michael Hiles Posted June 10, 2013 Share #4 Posted June 10, 2013 Lovely picture of a lovely spot.

fotografr Posted June 11, 2013 Share #7 Posted June 11, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Both are beautiful, Karl. Nicely composed and enough slowness in the shutter to blur the water movement. Well done.

Karl G Posted June 11, 2013 Author Share #11 Posted June 11, 2013 Stuart, Guenther, Tri, Brent, Bill, Paul, Mike, Michael and Michalii, Thank you very much for looking and commenting. These falls are actually part of a long term project on the falls of central New York and with over two hundred to shoot, and my relaxed pace I do not see completion for several years. allamande Posted June 11, 2013 Share #12 Posted June 11, 2013 What an enviable project! These are beautiful, I particularly like the presence of flowers in the first and the horizontal view in the second. If you had a way to combine the two....that would be the ultimate for me. Karl G Posted June 11, 2013 Author Share #13 Posted June 11, 2013 Thank you, Ece and unfortunately those are the only way to capture those views without huge amounts of photoshop composition to create a scene that doesn't exist in nature at that location. platypus Posted June 12, 2013 Share #14 Posted June 12, 2013 A very beautiful place and wonderful shots. And isn't it great to have a long term project that you don't have to rush to complete! Dee.
Karl G Posted June 12, 2013 Author Share #15 Posted June 12, 2013 Dee, thank you so much and you are so right. I only committed to a " deadline" of around 3 years on the premise that the appearances change with the seasons and it would be better to have a mixture and the publisher is happy as they also use images for a regional magazine in the interim.
