I thought so too at first, was going to post but then changed my mind. Now every time I re-run it I think I catch a very brief glimpse of M9 on the body, before it switches to M8 again in the next few frames.

Still not totally sure, but we'll know for sure a week on Wednesday.....

Here is a screen shot. Notice the ISO button below the delete button. The video then shows the top plate without the small lcd screen on top. - Nick

Explain why this is different from an M8.

 

If you stop the video at 54 seconds there's a shot of the back of the camera. One of the buttons is labelled 'ISO' - where the 'Protect' button is on the M8 or M8.2.

 

At 58 seconds there's shot of the top plate that has a ridge not present in the M8 or M8.2

It's there - pause it at 54 seconds and watch - they're playing with us :-)) - no doubt about it :-)

 

Yup,

 

ISO button, different top cover, no counter, no S setting (I can see) on highest 4000 shutter speed dial.

 

And cut to be suggestive....
