Advertisement Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Hi spylaw4, Take a look here Buy & Sell 2.0 Beta?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
echorec Posted December 12, 2008 Share #2 Posted December 12, 2008 Looks nice but it would be better if the background had the same grey colour as the forum.

epand56 Posted December 12, 2008 Share #4 Posted December 12, 2008 I like it, quite cool.
LUF Admin Posted December 12, 2008 Share #5 Posted December 12, 2008 It has a similar range of features but - the Paypal integration is MUCH better - the code is much cleaner and less buggy - the ads are crawled faster by Google & Co. echorec Posted December 13, 2008 Share #6 Posted December 13, 2008 Better now? Regards Andreas Hi Andreas, I like it a lot but the large white part should be light grey like on the main forum. Otherwise it feels too bright, especially if you move back and forth between the forum and the buy & sell. Best regards,

Otherwise it feels too bright, especially if you move back and forth between the forum and the buy & sell. Best regards, Hi, I switched it back to the previous (white) background as the change had some unwanted consequences I can't fix immediately. I've to do it more carefully in the next days... stuny Posted December 16, 2008 Share #10 Posted December 16, 2008 Andreas - Much better looking and easier to navigate. I can't try out posting anything for sale since I don't have anything to sell.
JHAG Posted December 17, 2008 Share #11 Posted December 17, 2008 Andreas - Much better looking and easier to navigate. I can't try out posting anything for sale since I don't have anything to sell. Fully agree. Much clearer and nicer to navigate. Close to the Leica website's design.

HetDraakje Posted December 30, 2008 Share #14 Posted December 30, 2008 I too agree on not being happy that full adresses are listed. Some members have large quantaties of gear, which might attract unwanted visitors... As for the rest, seems all fine. Boen
biglouis Posted January 11, 2009 Share #15 Posted January 11, 2009 Not sure I'm happy about the full address being listed........ I like the buy/sell section of the forum and have sold several items through it. I would like to use it in the future. However, if you insist on displaying the seller's address I'll never use it again. The address should only be revealed between buyer and seller when the trade is complete. I suppose an indication of country and even city would be OK. Displaying the address also contravenes the UK Data Protection Act as well as EU directives on information privacy, unless we have given you a specific waiver in terms and conditions to do so. LouisB Fully agree with that. The Internet and this Forum are not only visited by beautiful people, gentlemen drivers, dedicated priests and benevolens figures. Even less so in the months/years to come, with a recessive/depressive economy.
earleygallery Posted January 11, 2009 Share #17 Posted January 11, 2009 I want to list something for sale, will it automatically be displayed in the new software? I really prefer not to publish my personal details !!
