Advertisement Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Hi andybarton, Take a look here Dungeness. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Iduna Posted October 23, 2016 Share #2 Posted October 23, 2016 Andy, this is an excellent artistic composition and fine rendering where every detail has its own importance in favour of the whole as a unit. Very nice!
Louis Posted October 23, 2016 Share #3 Posted October 23, 2016 Andy, I just love it. My type of deep, moody, and strong B/W shot!
alun Posted October 24, 2016 Share #4 Posted October 24, 2016 Andy, Another marvellous picture with that marvellous lens. If I might be allowed one tiny observation, it is that the heavy vignetting in the upper left quadrant seems to keep pulling my eyes up and away... Perhaps the sky really was like that and there's nothing that can be done, but I think it would be so much stronger (and more unified?) with a sky that is more evenly toned across the frame... Of course, it's your picture and your choice and you were there and clicked the shutter -- etc etc: usual disclaimers and all that... (There, I'm just looking again before I post this comment and it *is* happening again: my eyes flicker away from the lovely details of light in the right hand part of the sky....)
