I found this young boy busking on the main square in Brugge, and asked his grandmother if I could photograph him. He was pretty good for his age, and in conversation with the grandmother I was told that his mother was a professional musician, his father played and his four siblings also played (two of them in the cathedral orchestra) - a talented family.

 

I took this on the M9 with the 35mm Summarit f2.5.

Not only did the young man playing the musical instrument catch my attention but so did the little boy that seems to be his captive audience and the other people in the far background.  Very nice.

Interesting photo, as Paul says is the second boy looking at the artist which adds interest in this image. So a family of musician artists interacting with a photographer artist, great!

Thanks Robert. I did maybe 4 frames and you are right, it is the second boy that makes the image.
