It must be a Leica M240 P. "

Well, I see a block of aluminium in the picture, so if you have been visiting leicarumours lately, its the new unibody Leica T.

That's how I see it as well. The 'T' may be for titanium though. It is hardly likely that the new camera will have ground breaking technology, so the unique selling point will be robustness.

Leica has discovered a way to print the M body using a 3D printer. The T 701 unibody is a prototype.

In future you choose the material and they will print it out for you - stainless steel, white gold, yellow gold, pink gold, platinum. Why even at a store near you while you wait to get your lens serviced. :D

Steve Huff is saying "If you come here (his web site) on the 24th you may just see way more than you ever expected to see". Hmm, can't decide if that makes me more excited or less excited.

He's going to add nudity to his usual self-portrait test pictures.

You don't know what 'P' stands for yet, and given Leica's insistence on strictly calling the M10 the M how can they call it an MP with another camera having that title already?

So 'P' can only mean 'Pretentious' and it will have rhinestones and a pink leather covering and gold plating.

Sean Reid says he will be publishing three extensive articles tomorrow, so that is three things to be excited about, ..........or two if you aren't excited about the 'M Pretentious'.
