BerndReini Posted December 3, 2013 Share #6 Posted December 3, 2013 Nothing against Steve Huff. I really do like the guy's enthusiasm, but he gets excited about every single new camera out there. Buying and selling gear is his hobby. He bought the Monochrom, he sold the Monochrom, then he bought the Monochrom again. Every time a new product comes out, he gets so excited about it that he just have to have it. Then he sells the old one. He openly admits it. I personally could care less. schmolinski Posted December 3, 2013 Share #7 Posted December 3, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yes he sells. And? Since he is a nice guy self employed and photo nerd he hast to. As jaap said, he needs money, perhaps. When I calculate his gear, wow that's an men all he owns at a lifetime, and this is Steve annual turnover of camera equipment. So there seems to be a nice time to get rid of to buy the family some Christmas gifts ;-) I randomly visit his site but to be honest it's very technical. It's a website for camera testing and tossing. And sometimes he has great guest articles that are really worth reding, and of course some less. I really appreciate what he is doing since he gets the response from all the people find it worthy to read. So if this helps him to get a better price for it why not. Guido Posted December 3, 2013 Share #15 Posted December 3, 2013 I randomly visit his site but to be honest it's very technical. It's a website for camera testing and tossing. NO NO NO! You got it all wrong! It's the image that matters to him! To quote from his website: Yea, there are a load of camera sites out there but most are too technical, boring, and their sample images (if they have any) kind of stink. I wanted to bring an enthusiastic, fun, and creative site to all of you who are like me and try to have a cool place for camera nuts to come hang out for a while and read up on some of the coolest new cameras. This site is not meant to compete with the “mega technical” camera review sites, but rather be something totally different. I will show you REAL WORLD results from the gear, not overly geekish babble. After all, it is the image that matters most is it not?
rirakuma Posted December 3, 2013 Share #16 Posted December 3, 2013 I don't know why people still make these threads. He's a reviewer and he's probably selling it because he needs money. His pricing is very fair its actually quite nice of him to do so.

250swb Posted December 4, 2013 Share #19 Posted December 4, 2013 I don't think it can be his personal camera because he's posted more than 40 M240 pictures. But I like his reviews, they are more about making photographs, less about who's beating the opposition at pixel peeping. And he has discerning taste, after all his camera of the year isn't the M240, not even the Sony A7®, but the Olympus E-M1...... Steve
