Advertisement Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Hi ShivaYash, Take a look here 35mm f2 hood?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lct Posted April 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 19, 2009 ...Is 12526 the correct hood for the 4th version of this lens?... The genuine hood for the 35/2 IV is the 12524 but the 12526 fits perfectly if you don't mind its black buttons. The 12524 is not easy to find out alone on the s/h market but the 12526 can be ordered to any Leica seller as it is the regular hood for 35/2 asph and 28/2.8 asph lenses currently. Not that cheap though See for instance leica 12526 | B&H Photo Video.
Ivar B Posted April 19, 2009 Share #3 Posted April 19, 2009 Yes, this one or the identical 12524. This hood is not hard to find and they are available on eBay all the time.

jaapv Posted April 20, 2009 Share #6 Posted April 20, 2009 I find this screw-in hood very much better. It is metal and it is screw-in. maybe not Leica, but Leica-quality and Leica-style.
