andybarton Posted October 7, 2009 Share #7 Posted October 7, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) To think that this dignified beauty was born of nothing, cosmic dust, once upon a time. Weren't we all, Wilfredo? Ashes to ashes, and all that? I'd prefer to see this in colour. Let's see that red spot
wilfredo Posted October 8, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted October 8, 2009 Thank you all again. ArtZ, I cropped the eye on the original file to see if indeed I was reflected on it, but I'm not. I certainly was close enough. Oh well :-)
wilfredo Posted October 8, 2009 Author Share #9 Posted October 8, 2009 Weren't we all, Wilfredo? Ashes to ashes, and all that? I'd prefer to see this in colour. Let's see that red spot Andy, Indeed we were! Here's the color file before I did the B&W conversion. I'm very pleased with it as well but I believe the B&W version gives it more of a sense of mystery and wonder. BTW This was done with a 90mm Elmarit R on a Canon 5D Mark II. wilfredo Posted October 8, 2009 Author Share #12 Posted October 8, 2009 The color version might work for National Geographic (dreaming is free) but the mystery is what stirs my soul. THANKS
