I have Zaggs on all kinds of things and have for years, but I've decided they are NG on photo/optical equipment. I'm experimenting with a mix of ACMAXX and GGS protectors now. I have ACMAXX protectors on a LX-3 and an M8. I'm wondering how the acrylic will hold up to scratches. Time will tell!

 

So, is this a good alternative to the sapphire glass? I can afford this one.

I have a glass protector on mine. After a while it got moisture in it and fogged up. One time it cracked and it's a bitch to get off. I just ordered the zagg. Less bulk and a nice clean look. BTW I have one of these glass protectors I never opened. I bought one when I was going to sell my M8 in favor of an M8.2 but changed my mind. So if anyone wants it for $15 shoot me a pm.

Moisture ? Funny. I live in a pretty humid place and it's crystal clear.

Are you talking about the ACMaxx ?

All three Zaggs I installed got a myriad of tiny bubbles.
