Advertisement Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Hi Mauribix, Take a look here M9 available in N.Y.?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Shootist Posted September 10, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 10, 2009 I would think that B&H will be one of the first camera shops to get M9's. They are probably the largest seller of Leica cameras and lenses. Probably the larger volume seller of all cameras made.

Well there are several shops in NYC and the surrounding area that carry Leica gear. You could even ask David at DaleLabs to send you one, that is if he has any. I suspect the M9 is going to be a HOT item for some time.My only hope is someone buys one and doesn't like it then sells it dirt cheap to me. You can always hope. scott kirkpatrick Posted September 11, 2009 Share #8 Posted September 11, 2009 Hi guys, do you know of any shop in N.Y. with M9 in stock at the moment? thank you. I'm hearing the same on deliveries of new units -- 1 to 5 units per shop in the next week or two. I ordered early on the announcement day from a big retailer and am about #10 on their list of nearly 30, so there was a rush of orders. Given that, your best chance in the next few weeks is to find a shop that was given one for their front window but hasn't got a clue to whom to sell it. scott
peter_n Posted September 11, 2009 Share #9 Posted September 11, 2009 At the store here in Boston the Leica rep. said on Wednesday the north-east US would be two weeks for first delivery. Then he said jokingly that's just a rumor...

adan Posted September 11, 2009 Share #11 Posted September 11, 2009 Cameras for all parts of the US arrive NY next Monday or Tuesday. They spend a day clearing customs, so will get to Leica NJ Tues. or Wed. Leica will fulfill orders in the order received from that shipment, nationwide, distributed among the various sales regions. Except for blind luck, I would not expect dealers to have "stock" - cameras not already committed to a preorder - for quite some time.
