Advertisement Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Hi azzo, Take a look here MP plus 1. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
batmobile Posted November 19, 2006 Share #22 Posted November 19, 2006 35mm lens. But there is no reason why cou cannot take any more is there. M mount lenses are made for (clean dust and lint free) pockets as they are so small. If taking two, my 28 Biogon and 50 planar. Why not? T

John Maio Posted November 19, 2006 Share #24 Posted November 19, 2006 I would choose a 35mm focal length Ditto
mwilliamsphotography Posted November 19, 2006 Share #25 Posted November 19, 2006 35/1.4 ASPH. When I travel I often get up early and wander the streets, or do so at night. I had a 35/2 and it just didn't quite make it in low light, and I lost to many shots to camera movement.

thomasw_ Posted November 19, 2006 Share #27 Posted November 19, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I would take my 50 mm summicron along with my M5 and some film:) I would feel more comfortable with my M5 than a new MP.
MSmelik Posted November 19, 2006 Share #28 Posted November 19, 2006 All dependse where your going and what you normally shoot. I like B&W (original) with hairsharp imaging combined with a bit of blur, either a very fast fast lens or very slow film.... the blur can be OOF or a movement blur, the choices are there.... so I would probably go for a 50lux If the family where to come along I would do snaps, in this case I would take the 2.8 elmar, but a 50mm it would be. pico Posted November 20, 2006 Share #30 Posted November 20, 2006 The early Summilux 35mm F1.4 I like it's behavior wide open.
johnkuo Posted November 20, 2006 Share #31 Posted November 20, 2006 My answer would be the same as many above - 35/1.4ASPH. However, I've done this - if you know you'd be shooting in close quarters or more of landscape style shots, I would bring the 28mm.
hamey Posted November 20, 2006 Share #32 Posted November 20, 2006 Would'nt leave home without the 35mm f/2 Asph. But then again, I have no choice as I only have one lens for my M7. and found it very useful, Terrific combo specially low light. For all other purpose it plays second fiddle to my 28-90mm R lens. Cheers.
