Digiscoping and the M8

Jim,

 

I'd assume that you'd have to use Visoflex or it wouldn't work because the M8's not TTL. That set-up sounds fraught with difficulties:

 

M8 > Visoflex > Visoflex focussing adapter (perhaps) > Visoflex lens > some Digiscope adapter > Digiscope. Wow!

 

Or perhaps there's an arcane microscope accessory that could be adapted for the Visoflex.

That could be the way... but probably is simpler (and cheaper) to find a good Telyt 400 or 560 to attach directly to the Viso... they are very good lenses for wildlife photo and not rare ones.

I tried it on my MP a few years back. Had to sell the stuff for my m8.2. I miss the MP but still have the scope all the viso stuff is also gone.

But it can work if you buy all the right adapters here is a old forum thread of my set up and a few pics from the first outing with it, a fast note this set up is HEAVY work out with the iron before you go and try this.

Fast note ,scope then the R -800mm adapter and then the Leica 22228 R to M adapter add in the Viso 3 and MP there you have it scoped M
