.......This is far more interesting than blathering on about M9 rumours. Hee hee.........

Definitely :).

..........(BTW, I hate the word "Brit", as do many people over here)

Oh I don't know Andy, I don't mind it.

Build Hadrian's Wall to keep the Scots at bay?:p

Ah yes, the Scots......;).

EVERYONE in the world resent the British.

Think it's worth pointing out that "Brit" first came to prominence as a derogatory term for the British Army in Ulster during the "Troubles". That is why it tends to put some people's backs up, mine included.

I'm not British I am English (albeit with a British passport) - and I have lived in NL long enough to be categorised as neither Dutch nor British. I am a yourpeen (G.W.B.jr drawl).

But anyway the British do not really exist unless there would be a British soccer team (i.s.o. Welsh, English, Scottish, Cornish & Ulster etc.) But this would reduce the chance of winning/losing the world soccer championship substantially - at least if this is a statistical process. Moreover I guess the (dis)UK contribution to the Eurovision songfestival does not count as an event that causes national (British) pride.

But I disgress, it will be launched in France because of the quality of their canapes (& bubbly wine). This is the foie-gras versus fish'nchip/bratwurst factor.

Ah, you poor Americans, - you don't have a history of your own..!

We prefer not to emulate the blunders of Europe. We try to be more creative in the mistake-making process.
