nocklebeast Posted August 23, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 23, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm using the latest version of Capture One (version 4.8.2) on windows, and I've noticed that the program does not display estimated f-stop information any more.... Does anyone else have the same experience?
Advertisement Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Hi nocklebeast, Take a look here estimated f-stop in Capture One 4.8.2?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
scott kirkpatrick Posted August 23, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 23, 2009 Yes. When I look, using 4.8.2, at files that have been first opened in 4.8.1, the estimated f-stop is still in the metadata, but for those opened first with 4.8.2, that field is blank. There were some odd things about PhaseOne's algorithm for calculating the estimated aperture, so it could be improved, but I hate to see it vanish completely. There is a "bug report" field in COne. Let's use it to ask for the feature back, or back with improvements. scott
