starwatcher Posted July 5, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 5, 2006 Amado, many thanks!! Hope you''ll have a pleasent time here in our international community. My first impression of the photos was that they look "dreamy". There is a certain degree of "fuzziness" on the top of the first two pictures. Is that by intent? It certainly gives the pictures a very special character. I like them all (although #1 is my favourite)!

pleeson Posted July 5, 2006 Share #8 Posted July 5, 2006 All 3 excellent shots, I favor #3. I also was curious about the blurring at the top of #1, really adds to the picture. Photoshop or filter ?? Phil
Michael-IIIf Posted July 5, 2006 Share #9 Posted July 5, 2006 Amando, I agree with the above. You have some lovely shots here and blurring adds to the atmosphere. cheers Michael
gverdon Posted July 5, 2006 Share #10 Posted July 5, 2006 I'm not sure about the blurring but #2 is the winner for me. Beautiful tones and dynamic composition. Gérald
jmr Posted July 5, 2006 Share #11 Posted July 5, 2006 Amado, nice shots. Number three is the one for me, I like the composition and the intensity of the blacks. I find the blurring in the first a little distracting, but I guess it's a matter of opinion.
arthury Posted July 5, 2006 Share #12 Posted July 5, 2006 #3 has a certain mysterious feel with all that shadows surrounding the subject. The position of the subject is also odd enough to deserve a second look to determine what's happening. Beautiful!
robert_parker Posted July 5, 2006 Share #13 Posted July 5, 2006 I prefer number 3, too - I'm not sure about the blurring in ~1 but for me #3 has the right mixture of contrast, tonal range and impact to make it a very good image
PhotoArchival Posted July 5, 2006 Author Share #14 Posted July 5, 2006 Thank you all for your feedback on these images. The blurring was done in photoshop. (Though if my camera had that option I probably would have done it then.) I liked the soft dreamlike atmosphere it created and i think it helps to focus on the childrens activities. wbesz Posted July 5, 2006 Share #15 Posted July 5, 2006 I like your #3 shot for the subject focal point. Very nice image.
