Advertisement Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Hi fernando_b, Take a look here Portofino . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
fotografr Posted November 14, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 14, 2006 I don't think Kodachrome is bad for the greens, it's just that your very nice photo was underexposed and not properly color balanced. I hope you don't mind that I did some corrections to it to show what is there.
marknorton Posted November 14, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 14, 2006 It's also out of focus, this was taken with a Digilux 2...
twistedpixel Posted November 14, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 14, 2006 Nice image Mark, it brings back fond memories of when I used to live there. This one was taken about 8 years ago. earleygallery Posted November 15, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 15, 2006 I know this is the Leica forum and all, but that Hassy shot on K64 is beautiful. The boat on the right is just perfect. I'd hang that on my wall.
fernando_b Posted November 15, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted November 15, 2006 Brent, no problem about it. Sure the green in your correction is very better, however I never succeded in obtaining it as good as with Velvia, and in my hopinion this is the only drawback of K64. Mark, yes it is out of focus, and it is due to my flatbed scanner. Fernando.

Sorry about the non Leica shot, although I still got 2 subjects on topic (K64 and Portofino) If you really like it I can send you a print (14x14, 24x24 or 36x36), you just pay the shipping. MrEd Posted November 18, 2006 Share #10 Posted November 18, 2006 I agree with John, plus if I may add, I have not seen colors like that coming from a digital camera yet. Thanks for sharing. Ed. .
