Advertisement Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Hi StS, Take a look here Experiences with Kodachrome return times?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Finnkare Posted July 1, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 1, 2009 About a year ago it took 15 days from Finland. I can't remember how many of them were working days, but around 11. I posted it straight to USA, though, because it was an old film which didn't have the bag anymore.

simonxpan Posted July 1, 2009 Share #4 Posted July 1, 2009 Bit academic now as Kodachrome has been discontinued, sad to say
Chuck Albertson Posted July 1, 2009 Share #5 Posted July 1, 2009 I'm in the US. If I drop it in the mail Monday morning (Priority Mail to Dwayne's in Kansas) I usually have my slides back (also Priority Mail) by the end of the week. And it's not academic, as Dwayne's will be processing Kodachrome through the end of 2010.

Riccis Posted July 1, 2009 Share #8 Posted July 1, 2009 The week before the announcement I sent a roll on Monday and had it back on Wednesday (same week). Of course, I like to send and receive all my film via Priority Overnight to minimize the risk of getting it lost in the way. Cheers,
earleygallery Posted July 2, 2009 Share #9 Posted July 2, 2009 I posted a roll off earlier this year, took about 4 weeks to come back (UK)
andybarton Posted July 2, 2009 Share #10 Posted July 2, 2009 It will only get worse as the stocks are used up over the next 18 months.
earleygallery Posted July 2, 2009 Share #11 Posted July 2, 2009 Indeed it will. I wonder who will have the 'last ever roll to be processed' ! The film should be mounted in gold slides.
PavelDerka Posted July 2, 2009 Share #12 Posted July 2, 2009 one and a half years. and counting. The last six, yes SIX rolls of kodachrome I have sent off, in three batches .... have gotten lost. I can take a hint. I still have one roll left, but I'm scared to lose whatever shots I take with it ... so I guess it will be an unexposed memento. ejd Posted July 3, 2009 Share #13 Posted July 3, 2009 I've sent rolls from the UK to the Kodak adddress in Lausanne, whence they go to Parsons,Kansas, and then come back the same way, and had them back in 2 to 3 weeks, perhaps sooner on occasions.
