elansprint72 Posted June 21, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 21, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) ..... well, not actually ALL mine but.... some years ago this wonderful machine was due to be cut up for scrap; an appeal was made to save and restore it, I chucked in a "couple of quid" and eventually we got enough together to put it back into main line service for special trains. Anyway; I kind of lost track() of it a few years ago but today, quite by accident, I came across it again. Now they are asking for more money to get it up to spec again. "It's like this dear......." elansprint72 Posted August 7, 2009 Author Share #11 Posted August 7, 2009 I would have liked the full motion gear exposed, as it's so important on photographing steam engines. But nevertheless well done. Ken. Next time I'll ask them to push it outside; not easy to fit everything in when your back is against the next oily loco, four feet away! Thanks guys.
