Advertisement Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Hi stuny, Take a look here one racer, one racey, once racer. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Marquinius Posted June 12, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 12, 2009 Stuart, Amazing how easy you took this perfect commercial photo. I'm sure they would've paid lots of money if they'd have to hire you About the cars and specifically the R8: saw one doing laps at a nearby circuit (guy wanted to go all the way). Pure unadultered raw power. What one wants with it on a civil road I mean, so you are away at 100 mph in 5 seconds. Euhmmm ...

soleforeal Posted June 13, 2009 Share #4 Posted June 13, 2009 Look at the pipes on that R8. I'd like to hear it open up.
stuny Posted June 13, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted June 13, 2009 Marco - Thank you. And that R8 is the new V-10 version with larger openings in the lower portion of the "blade." Cars in this league are not about practicality. Paul - Thank you. Soleforeal - Thank you. I'd like to hear it too. Hmmm. Perhaps at the Audi dealer where Barbara bought her A5. Marquinius Posted June 13, 2009 Share #6 Posted June 13, 2009 Cars in this league are not about practicality. No doubt! But somehow it makes me smile, with such a car and Dutch roads. I mean: on a normal monday you will find up to 300 km of jams, in a country that's about 200 km tall and 100 km wide. Liked the sound of the earlier version though! Man, that was like a dragster going off. They did tricks with on a taxiway on a local airport. Kids with cancer, MS and such, having a day to remember. vdb Posted June 15, 2009 Share #7 Posted June 15, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Commercial grade image. Excellent Stuart. And of course, I too want to hear it (cause we all know we can't hear anything coming from the R10).
