fernando_b Posted June 8, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 8, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Finally I had the chance to shot to living animals with my Telyt 560, I purchased it months ago from a forum friend. I shot two rolls of Elite 100 ISO all at f/6.8 and shutter speeds between 1/250 and 1/500. Most of the shots are blurred (some more some less) due to my unability to hold it firmly even with the shoulder stock. A dozen are decent (at least to me, I'm not a professional), I post four of them. I concluded that I need absolutely a monopod (compare the last of the following pictures that was shot months ago with a monopod at 1/60) or I have to use a faster film e.g. 400 ISO. I will appreciate much some comments and suggestion from you friends. Fernando.

pauledell Posted June 8, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 8, 2009 Fernando, Nice series. Great colors, sharpness and moment. The Telyt looks to be one terrific lens. Paul
stuny Posted June 8, 2009 Share #3 Posted June 8, 2009 Fernando - Beautiful subjects, composition and detail, especially #2. I think the others would be stronger with some post processing to punch them up a bit.

fernando_b Posted June 9, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted June 9, 2009 Paul, Stuart and Vdb, thanks for viewing and commenting. Paul, you are right, I'm impressed of what Leica was able to get from two cemented glass elements. It's only defect is the field curvature, but it is has negative influence only if you shoot at flat objects filling all the fotogram (e.g architectures). Fernando.
