I recently gave in to the notion that I needed to correct my 50 cron which was completely soft on my M8 - a common problem - but I needed it done in a hurry for a critical shoot out of town. I contacted Leica, explained the issue and the urgency. A rush delivery to them, a fantastically quick turn around and return - my M8 was aligned, my cron was coded and tweaked and my lens is again tack sharp. They really came through! Great job Leica NJ! I agree that people should post their thanks more often. Since most references to Leica service have been complaints, the impression is left that it is routinely bad. It isn't.
