My compliments to leica NJ

We have seen many tales of woe here about leica NJ. For a change...my compliments. I recently gave in to the notion that I needed to correct my 50 cron which was completely soft on my M8 - a common problem - but I needed it done in a hurry for a critical shoot out of town. I contacted Leica, explained the issue and the urgency. A rush delivery to them, a fantastically quick turn around and return - my M8 was aligned, my cron was coded and tweaked and my lens is again tack sharp. They really came through! Great job Leica NJ! ( and thanks David, Sherry and Sara for your suggestions and help )

I've dealt with the people at Leica NJ three or four times, and they've always been helpful, courteous, and professional. I agree that people should post their thanks more often. Since most references to Leica service have been complaints, the impression is left that it is routinely bad. It isn't.

 

And my camera works, too.
