chingwa Posted April 23, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 23, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) After reading all the threads about the Lumix G1 using M-lenses I've had this unshakeable idea of mounting M lenses onto a canon G10. The first time I ever heard of the G10 was actually in the store and I was really impressed by the handling, build, speed, and dials (!) for a consumer grade point and shoot. of course, mounting a new lens onto this camera would require a deconstruction hack job... but it doesn't seem completely unfeasible. Has anyone else been thinking along these lines or am I just in wacko land?
Advertisement Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Hi chingwa, Take a look here M lenses on G10. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
doubice Posted April 24, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 24, 2009 ..snipped........... or am I just in wacko land? I am afraid you may very well be... Part of the hack job would have to be the removal of the shutter, as it is an integral part of the G10's lens. Best, Jan
lct Posted April 24, 2009 Share #3 Posted April 24, 2009 The widest M lens would be a tele photo on the G10.
