BerndReini Posted April 20, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 20, 2009 How can you even look at the camera? Is this Audrey Tatou? She is beautiful.

epand56 Posted April 20, 2009 Share #4 Posted April 20, 2009 Totally ridiculous. No camera would look like that in 1910. I don't even think there where all-black cameras at the time. This is hilarious. On the other side, not even Coco Chanel looked like that. She was not such a pretty girl. Cinema is often a fake.
jaapv Posted April 20, 2009 Share #5 Posted April 20, 2009 Couldn't this be a set shot between scenes?
epand56 Posted April 20, 2009 Share #6 Posted April 20, 2009 Could be, but why should miss Tatou disguise her Leica like that? I didn't see the movie, but this looks like a frame from the film.
dpattinson Posted April 20, 2009 Share #7 Posted April 20, 2009 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Audrey Tautou does use a Leica, so I'd guess this is her using her own camera on set. I think this is her with it over her shoulder: http://www.mimifroufrou.com/scentedsalamander/images/Tautou-Chanel-Bazar-B.jpg Edited April 20, 2009 by dpattinson

stunsworth Posted April 20, 2009 Share #13 Posted April 20, 2009 I have a silver one as well... You should see a doctor about that. As much as I adore the devine Audrey, I hope the film is better than the last two clunkers of hers I've seen - "The Long Engagement" and "The Da Vinci Code". I still have a soft spot for Amelie, so I can forgive her those other two.
gfspencer Posted April 20, 2009 Share #14 Posted April 20, 2009 How can you even look at the camera? Is this Audrey Tatou? She is beautiful. It must be my age. I looked at the camera first.

LeicaMSeattle Posted April 20, 2009 Share #17 Posted April 20, 2009 Besides her enchanting gaze, I couldn't help but notice the odd glare off of the convex looking Leica dot and the thicker beveled edge black mass over the white M8.
adan Posted April 20, 2009 Share #18 Posted April 20, 2009 (edited) "On the other side, not even Coco Chanel looked like that. She was not such a pretty girl." I Watch Stuff - Tautou to Play Coco Chanel The outfit she is wearing is not 1910, nor is the hair style, unlike this REAL still from the movie: First peek at Audrey Tautou as Coco Chanel - Entertainment | thevine.com.au ------------Edit------------ http://audrey-tautou.org/?page_id=165 "Q: Your last crazy purchase? A: A Leica lens, 50mm." Edited April 20, 2009 by adan
epand56 Posted April 20, 2009 Share #19 Posted April 20, 2009 I hate the movie "Amelie" hence I can't love Tautou. On her black Leica, nevertheless, I could close an eye.
jevidon Posted April 21, 2009 Share #20 Posted April 21, 2009 I would bet that the photo was nothing more than a promo shot that had nothing more to do with the movie than some publicity. Tatou was wearing contemporary clothes unsuitable for a period piece of a movie like Coco. BTW, gorgeous, isn't she?
