Totally ridiculous. No camera would look like that in 1910. I don't even think there where all-black cameras at the time. This is hilarious.

On the other side, not even Coco Chanel looked like that. She was not such a pretty girl. Cinema is often a fake.

Audrey Tautou does use a Leica, so I'd guess this is her using her own camera on set.

As much as I adore the devine Audrey, I hope the film is better than the last two clunkers of hers I've seen - "The Long Engagement" and "The Da Vinci Code".

 

I still have a soft spot for Amelie, so I can forgive her those other two.

Besides her enchanting gaze, I couldn't help but notice the odd glare off of the convex looking Leica dot and the thicker beveled edge black mass over the white M8.

I would bet that the photo was nothing more than a promo shot that had nothing more to do with the movie than some publicity. Tatou was wearing contemporary clothes unsuitable for a period piece of a movie like Coco. BTW, gorgeous, isn't she?
