jplomley Posted April 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 19, 2009 Nice use of that 18mm here William. I look forward to seeing more as I have had my eye on this lens for awhile. Do you find it sharp wide open?

WmAl Posted April 19, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted April 19, 2009 Nice use of that 18mm here William. I look forward to seeing more as I have had my eye on this lens for awhile. Do you find it sharp wide open? Thanks all for the compliments. Jeff: It's very sharp but make sure you get the cut-out filter too. It needs it! I stopped for lunch when I caught this image. jplomley Posted April 19, 2009 Share #6 Posted April 19, 2009 Cheers William. Leica now has this listed as a freebie when you purchase the M8 so I have it on order. I guess this now commits me to the lens. I figured if I got the filter first, my wife could not say no to the lens "but look honey, I already have the filter, that makes the lens so much cheaper" :D
