troyfreund Posted April 15, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 15, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) A few friends of mine and I went photographing together at a local track meet. Quite a challenge to shoot with a manual-focus SLR. All the same, I got some results I was quite happy with. Leica R8/DMR + 90mm lens (circa 1968) and 180mm lens (circa 1984). troyfreund Posted April 16, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted April 16, 2009 Thanks for all the nice comments, Leica Gang. The high jump was a challenge to shoot, but at least I usually knew where the action was going to take place. Tracking the hurdles or any other running event was much more challenging. The high jump sure was fun though--those athletes are amazing!
