The original has some noise, but I decided not to bother using Neat Image to reduce it. Incidently I didn't have to adjust the white balance either. The 5D is amazing at the high ISO settings. I recently had to shoot something at 3200 with my 5D (no choice) and was actually able to come away with usable shots that are being published.
