andybarton Posted February 25, 2009 Share #7 Â Posted February 25, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just a thought. Are you using an IR filter?
Michele Posted February 25, 2009 Author Share #8 Â Posted February 25, 2009 No Andy, Â I haven't used the IR filter, just plain Summarit 35 mm. Do you suggest it? Â Michele
andybarton Posted February 25, 2009 Share #9 Â Posted February 25, 2009 IR filters on lenses used on M8s are absolutely essential, if black man-made fibres aren't to come out all looking a nice plum/magenta colour. Have a look at the man walking inthe street with the hair and the table cloth, to see what happens when you don't use one. Â You will have received (or can get when registering on the Leica website) vouchers for two IR/UV filters.

thompsonkirk Posted February 26, 2009 Share #15 Â Posted February 26, 2009 The carnival photos are a great series, & the final BW reveals an entirely different potential, for grasping feelings/attitudes on film or sensor. Â Kirk
