Guest s.m.e.p. Posted February 22, 2009 Share #24 Posted February 22, 2009 I did copy and paste those pictures from the official Leica website. Did I have to pay the rights for this? Would I have to pay if I copy and paste pictures from YOUR website?
Mauribix Posted February 22, 2009 Share #25 Posted February 22, 2009 Would I have to pay if I copy and paste pictures from YOUR website? There's no need to answer in that harsh way. If you want to copy and paste pictures from my website, just do it, until you don't get any business out of it I don't worry, BTW, if the rights are reserved you'd easily get your answer by yourself. Otherway not. I don't think anybody here ever posed the problem when posting pictures from the Leica Website (but I may have lost something as well). That' including PDF datasheet or products images. Maybe Jockele is the author of those pictures, I don't know, what should I do?

I think Leica has the image rights because these pictures were on the Leica homepage. Best wishes Jockele
LUF Admin Posted February 22, 2009 Share #27 Posted February 22, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've removed the images as I'm not sure if Leica has ALL rights (and not limited for usage on their own website). In most cases (unaltered product images) Leica allows the usage in the Leica Forum, if you're unsure please ask (me or Leica directly).
